We can’t speak highly enough of The Wolds Day Nursery. This is the second nursery our 17 month old son has been to and he’s been very happy here for nearly three months now. All of the staff are very welcoming and friendly and have helped him to settle quickly and easily. When we hand our little boy over on a morning, it feels like leaving him with a family member and it’s obvious at the end of the day he’s had a great time! The communication with parents is faultless - the staff go out of their way to meet your child’s needs and respect your wishes, and they always have time to provide informative feedback at collection time. The food smells delicious, the facilities are brilliant and the setting is just perfect!

We just wanted to thank all the staff at The Wolds and in particular those in the pre school room for all the great work they do getting the children ready for starting school. It has made such a big difference to **. She is already doing really well with her reading and much of that is because she knows all her phonics already. That has really helped with her confidence in class as she has been able to help 'teach' others what she knows. I know she really enjoyed learning her phonics as well as numbers, holding a pencil and writing her name in preschool as you made it so much fun and did it in a relaxed, appropriate way. And it has really put her in a great position for the beginning of her school life over the last few weeks. It's not only the 'academic' stuff though, also practical things like putting on shoes and coats, going to the toilet independently and knowing how to sit properly on the carpet! all help her be well equipped for what is expected of them in school. She will fondly tell us 'that's because Rachel showed / told me'... So thank you, we really appreciate it and look forward to ** following in her footsteps!
